Dobrina graduated in 2008 with Masters in Architecture from the University Of Las Palmas, Spain. Following university she moved to Madrid where she became a member of the Association of Architects of Madrid. Her other qualifications include numerous industry courses in health and safety at construction sites, architectural management, building surveyor and specialising in Building Pathology and Intervention techniques at the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
Prior to her employment in the UK, Dobrina had several years of experience working as an Architect for significant studios based in Spain, where she worked on projects for residential, office and multi-purpose buildings.
In 2011 she moved to the UK to look for new challenges where soon she became a member of the Architect Registration Board and continued her career in Architecture as freelance designer and collaborating with UK architectural studios mainly with residential building projects following the Building Regulations.
She joined the BBA in 2013 as a Project Manager in the Materials department assessing innovative construction materials primarily in the areas of roofing, flooring sheets, masonry coatings and recently introduced to sustainability.
