With a background in civil engineering to GNVQ (National Diploma) level, Graham then graduated with both an HND and BSc Honours in Mapping Science in 2001. His other qualifications include numerous industry standard health and safety certificates and an NVQ level 4 in Waste Management.

He joined Thales Geosolutions (previously RACAL survey) in 2001, which is an offshore undersea survey company in support of the oil and gas industry. During his time there, Graham worked as a data processor and cartographer producing undersea survey charts at a number of UK and overseas offices for important blue chip companies such as Shell, Chevron, and Texaco.

In 2004 Graham joined the Civil Engineering Consultancy of Vine Technical Services as a Client/Project Manager, working as a drainage consultant within the heavy industrial drainage and waste treatment sector. However, more recently much of his time was spent working with clients on environmental projects, and in some cases, assisting clients with ISO 14001 certification and compliance with the Environment Agencies’ strict standards for Waste Treatment Licences.

Graham joined the BBA in 2013 as a Project Manager within the Energy & Ventilation sector, working mainly on the certification of Windows and Doors including the assessment of windows to the UK nationally recognised British Fenestration Rating Council’s system for window energy rating (WER).
